Miner Family Vineyards

Founded in 1998 by Dave Miner, President of Oakville Ranch Vineyards, along with his wife Emily and his parents, Ed and Norma, Miner Family Vineyards produces small lot, hand crafted wines using fruit from Oakville Ranch, Ed and Norma's vineyard and other carefully selected California vineyards. We produce limited quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc using a combination of old world winemaking techniques and modern technology. The focus of our label is to produce high end, reserve style wines that reflect the unique characteristics of individual vineyards or "terroir" where specific varietals grow best.
Miner Family Vineyards is located in the heart of Napa Valley at 7850 Silverado Trail in Oakville. The state of the art winery has approximately a 100,000 case capacity and 20,000 square feet of newly constructed caves for barrel aging and storage.

We produce and sell both Miner Family Vineyards and Oakville Ranch Vineyards wines here, as well as producing wines for many clients as a custom crush operation. The Miner Family wines are stylistically different in character from Oakville Ranch wines, yet they maintain the exceptionally high level of quality associated with Oakville Ranch.
The Miner family invites you to visit the facility, sample many limited releases of Miner Family wines and tour the winery and caves. The winery offers a tasting room with retail sales that is open year round.
The image of the Winged Sun God on our label is taken from an ancient Assyrian relief. This symbol represents the brilliant light of the sun, which illuminates the life of mankind while giving energy and warmth for the vines to grow and fruit to ripen. It also represents abundance and prosperity as it has brought life and health to the vines of our ancestors. We hope that the Miner Family Wines will prosper with this good fortune in the years to come.
